JLB Roofing Marks Four Years in Business With Expansion Into Siding and Gutter Services in Salt Lake City, UT

SANDY, UT – October 20, 2026 – PRESSADVANTAGE –

JLB Roofing, a family-owned roofing company serving Salt Lake City and the surrounding valley, is marking four years in business by expanding into siding and gutter installation and repair. The added services let homeowners handle roof, siding, and gutter work through one contractor, keeping water management and exterior protection consistent across the whole house.

JLB Roofing was officially founded on October 24, 2022, by Omar Banegas, who began his career as a roofing installer in Texas before moving to Utah. Banegas runs the company with his father, Lino Banegas, and his sister, Cindy Banegas. After its first contracts arrived in 2023, the company reinvested in equipment, tools, and vehicles, then opened a project office in 2024 and established working agreements with three Utah roofing companies and several material suppliers.

Operating from Sandy, the company serves Salt Lake City, West Valley City, South Jordan, West Jordan, Sandy, Draper, Riverton, Herriman, Midvale, Murray, Taylorsville, Holladay, Cottonwood Heights, and Magna. Over four years, it has grown into a full-service roofing company in Salt Lake City, handling repairs, replacements, and storm damage.

JLB Roofing is licensed, bonded, and insured under Utah contractor license 13550295-5501, holds an A+ rating with the BBB, and is a GAF Certified Roofing Contractor. The company has earned a 4.8-star average across 57 Google reviews. It works Monday through Saturday and offers free roof inspections along with emergency roof repair.

“When I started this company four years ago, it was my dad, my sister, and me trying to prove we could do the work right,” said Omar Banegas, founder of JLB Roofing. “Customers kept asking if we could take care of their gutters and siding while we were already up there. Now it’s one crew, one phone number, and the whole outside of the house done right.”

The expansion follows steady customer demand during roofing projects. In the Salt Lake Valley, the roof, gutters, and siding work as one system. When gutters overflow or pull away from the fascia, snowmelt runs down exterior walls and pools near the foundation, and damaged siding lets moisture reach the sheathing behind it.

The new siding installation and siding repair services cover full replacements as well as storm and impact damage. Gutter services include new gutter installation and repairs to sagging, leaking, or detached runs.

Homeowners can now schedule a single inspection that covers the roof, gutters, and siding together. The same crews and standards behind JLB’s roofing work, including its GAF certification, apply to the expanded services, giving existing customers a familiar team for the rest of the exterior.

“Before the first hard freeze, clean out your gutters and watch where the water goes when the snow melts,” Banegas said. “If it’s running down the siding or sitting next to the foundation, get it looked at now instead of waiting until spring.”

JLB Roofing’s services include roof inspection, roof repair, roof installation, roof replacement, roof maintenance, roof ventilation, storm damage roof repair, emergency roof repair, siding installation, siding repair, gutter installation, and gutter repair.
