To use it, ChatGPT users open the Apps directory in the sidebar, search for “Courtroom5,” and click Enable — no sign-up required.

• Case intake assessment evaluates a user’s situation in plain language, identifies the legal claims that may apply, names the correct court for the matter, and returns concrete first steps.
• Deadline calculator takes a case event — being served, a motion filed, an order entered — and returns the applicable deadlines, the dates they fall on, and the consequences of missing them, drawing on jurisdiction-specific procedural data covering the 15 most active states for civil litigation, with additional states rolling out.
• Next-step guidance identifies the two or three highest-priority actions for a litigant already in active proceedings, based on case stage, role in the case, and jurisdiction.
