Nottingham, England – October 20, 2026 – PRESSADVANTAGE –

Peace of Growth Ltd is detailing how an AI quotation prototype built by Farhan Ahmed Khan separates repair findings that can be priced from items that require an estimator’s judgment. The recorded fire-protection demonstration uses fictional inspection data and retains unresolved work in a separate review queue. The workflow provides a practical reference for teams considering AI-assisted estimating in HVAC, electrical services, fire protection and wholesale distribution.

The announcement focuses on a specific boundary in quotation preparation: identifying a defect does not always establish the work needed to resolve it. A replacement with a stated specification may support a price-book match, while an observation requiring diagnosis or clarification of its extent still needs a person. The prototype makes that distinction visible within the estimating workflow rather than presenting every reported finding as a completed repair price.

In the demonstration, a six-page sample report covers 78 devices and records 14 deficiencies. The application’s output accounts for all 14 through three categories: six priced repairs, six findings requiring a person before pricing, and two items classified as non-repair work. These are counts from the fictional example, rather than customer averages or a measured production-accuracy result.

The human-review queue is an operational component of the demonstration. The recordings describe diagnostic requirements and access conditions as reasons for involving a person, and the interface displays an example reason, “Extent unknown.” Retaining this explanation gives the estimator a starting point for the next assessment. It also keeps unresolved findings visible alongside the priced scope, so the displayed repair total can be read in context.

Documentation and owner-action findings are treated separately from physical repairs. This distinction matters when an inspection report contains different kinds of follow-up work. A quotation for replacement components does not necessarily resolve a missing record, an action assigned to the owner, or an item whose repair scope has yet to be established. The demonstrated categories preserve those differences for the reviewer.

For work that can be priced, the prototype matches report details against a 61-line price book, a catalogue of parts and associated costs. One example specifies a wall-mounted horn/strobe with a 75-candela light-intensity setting. The application selects part CLS-HS-75 and a quantity of one, displaying separate parts and labour entries. This provides a concrete example of the information available for an estimator to check against the original recommendation.

The generated PDF quotation carries the 14-finding breakdown and references the originating deficiencies and inspection-report pages for priced repairs. It also includes an instruction for service-manager review before issue. The recordings establish the presence of this instruction on the document; they do not establish a software-enforced approval integration. The document references give the reviewer a route back to the reported finding when checking the proposed commercial scope.

For HVAC and electrical estimating teams, adapting this approach would require defining which equipment specifications and work allowances are sufficient for pricing, and which findings require further assessment. For wholesale distributors, a corresponding workflow would need to preserve requested product variants and quantities while identifying requests that cannot yet be matched to a catalogue line. These are intended applications of the approach; the supplied recordings demonstrate fire-protection repair quotations.

Peace of Growth’s AI employee terminology describes a software assistant preparing work for human review. In this example, the demonstrated handoff includes report classification, price-book matching, unresolved findings and a draft quotation. Configuring the workflow for another business would require its report formats, price book, scope rules and review responsibilities. Production deployment volumes, processing-time savings and independently validated accuracy have not been established by these demonstrations.
